The very first step to permanent fat loss is to ask yourself ‘Why do I want to lose fat?’  It may seem obvious but the truth is we all have very different reasons that are important to us. We need a reason to embark on this life changing journey, we need lots of reasons in order to stay motivated and committed.

Write the reasons down, as many as you can think of. I can still remember some of mine. My reasons were mostly cosmetic, not very noble I know, but really that doesn’t matter, the important thing is that the reasons will motivate us.Reasons to Lose Fab

Once you have the list written, read it, re-read it and read it again. Keep reading that list until you know it inside out, back to front and upside down.

Some of my clients like to make posters of their reasons and hang them in the bathroom and bedroom. If that works for you go for it.

As you loss fat and begin to change so will your reasons so update them regularly.
