Some Tips About Fat Burning Foods And Fat Loss
We all know that eating too much makes us fat. What many of us don’t know is that eating more food can also help us to achieve fat loss. These wonder foods can give us that extra kick to our weight loss plan.
Protein requires more energy to digest than carbs or fats. This means if we eat a 200 calorie slice of beef, we may burn 40 calories digesting it. In comparison eating a cookie worth 200 calories will require very few calories to digest it.
Therefore we should try to eat plenty of protein. Meats and legumes are awesome sources of protein. The protein will also help us to gain muscle while we are on a weight training program.
Eating more protein, while following a weight training program, helps us to build more muscle. The more muscle we build the more fat we burn. This is a good cycle to be in. That is why people who are muscular and fit get away with eating more. Their muscles are burning more calories round the clock.
Good sources of protein are skinless poultry, lean meat, tuna, sardines, chickpeas, eggs and salmon. Fish contain Omega-3 fatty acids which add to the benefit our body receives from fish.
The chemical properties in some foods trigger off certain processes in the body that cause fat loss. Eating these foods will make our body wake up and burn more fat.
Green tea is one such food. Drink is without milk or sugar. If you wish to add flavour, squeeze some fresh lemon juice into the hot tea.
Chillies, lemons, oranges, mangoes, garlic, ginger and onions contain many powerful antioxidants and nutrients that strengthen our immune system. When we are strong our workouts are more intense and we burn more fat.
One common problem most of us face when we first embark on a weight loss program is that we constantly feel hungry. Food is always on our mind which makes it difficult to stick to the food plan.
Choose high fiber, water rich foods, such as broth based vegetable soups, salads, fruits and vegetables instead of foods without fiber and water. We can eat the same weight of food but will feel fuller on fewer caloires. Choose whole grain foods like whole grain rice, whole grain pasta and whole grain bread.
Capsaicin, the compound that gives chilli peppers their kick, heats up your body, which makes you melt additional calories. You can get it by eating raw, cooked, dried, or powdered peppers, says Lakatos Shames. “Add as much cayenne or hot sauce as possible to soups, eggs, and meats.”
Eating these foods alone will not help us to loss body fat. We must follow a food plan that ensures we are experiencing a calorie deficit and take regular exercise. These foods will give our fat loss efforts an extra boost to speed things up a little.
